Mr. Bornstein is a trial lawyer experienced in state and federal trial and appellate matters throughout the United States. He has handled multi-million dollar lawsuits, arbitrations and appeals on both the federal and state level, all the way up to the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Bornstein argued, and won, the case of Bendix Autolite Corp. v. Midwesco Enterprises, Inc., the seminal Commerce Clause case heard by the Supreme Court in the last quarter century. In a career which, until recently, was devoted entirely to litigation, Mr. Bornstein has tried both jury trials and bench trials covering most types of complex commercial matters, including construction, contract, corporate, real estate, partnership, employment, insurance, intellectual property, business torts, franchising, law firm dissolution, securities, antitrust, stockholder and derivative suits, professional malpractice and class actions. Mr. Bornstein has handled complex construction litigation throughout the United States. Mr. Bornstein currently acts as General Counsel for Gorsuch, Ltd.
